Description

We are currently seeking an ambitious and proactive Health & Safety Manager to join a leading Civil Engineering & Groundworks firm that operates across the South of England. You will have extensive knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, ideally within the Civil Engineering or Groundworks sector.

The successful Health & Safety candidate will have exceptional self-motivation and discipline as this is a home-based role, overseeing multiple projects across the South of England. 

Established since 1991, this company has a track record of delivering 1st class services to FTSE listed contractors and has a turnover of over £70 million.

Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • To provide high quality Health & Safety to top tier clients across the South of England
  • To monitor compliance with the company’s H&S policy and hold regular meetings with senior managers to discuss improvements to safety procedures
  • To review all Risk Assessments and High Risk activities, ensuring adequate control measures are in place
  • To manage over 200 groundworkers on numerous sites across the South of England

Health & Safety Manager Experience and Qualifications required:

  • NEBOSH General / Construction
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Civils / Groundworks sector (advantageous)
  • Happy to travel across the South of England
  • Ambitious, self-motived and passionate about Health & Safety
