Our client is a major events company based in Berkshire. Due to their continued success and rise in workload, they are looking to hire an experienced Health & Safety Co-ordinator on a 1-year FTC (Fixed Term Contract) to co-ordinate, support and advise the business on all aspects regarding Health & Safety. The successful candidate will hold NEBOSH General (as a minimum), have experience in a similar industry and have thorough knowledge of implementing and revising Health & Safety policies & procedures.

The Opportunity

  • To ensure a safe workplace environment for all customers and staff
  • To ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures and guidelines are adhered to and are regularly updated
  • To ensure that the business is compliant with Health & Safety regulations
  • To produce and complete regular risk assessments for all work equipment and operations
  • To ensure accident and investigation reports are carried out correctly
  • To establish a full programme of documented Health & Safety inspections and audits

The Requirements

  • NEBOSH General (as a minimum)
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar fast paced role (ideally within events)
  • SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable)
  • Tech IOSH (desirable)
