A manufacturing business based near Peterborough is looking for a Risk Manager to join its growing team. The Risk Manager has responsibility for the safe working practices of the site ensuring a high standard of quality is met and to lead and promote a positive Health & Safety culture throughout the workforce.

You will be NEBOSH/IOSH qualified and ISO accreditation experience is required. As the Risk Manager you will provide advice and support on legislation and guidance for the team regarding H&S and quality and work collaboratively with the other stakeholders within the business.

Risk Manager Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Acting as a source of expertise within the business on risk and the assessment and management of such risks.
  • Leading activities aimed at ensuring that the business takes effective risk-based approaches across the range of its responsibilities.
  • Management of specific workstreams within the businesses review of the system for identifying assessing and managing product risks affecting UK consumers.
  • Liaising closely with and supporting internal colleagues particularly those in the intelligence enforcement analysis and incident management teams to assess emerging issues and advise on their seriousness and appropriate means of risk management.
  • Undertaking Risk Assessments where applicable.

Risk Manager Experience and Qualifications required:

  • NEBOSH/IOSH Qualification
  • ISO accreditation Knowledge and Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role
