We are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading utilities, civil engineering & construction contractors. Following the award of a major new contract, they are looking to hire an experienced Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Manager who will be working directly with the board to influence and implement strategies for Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) to the highest standard. The successful candidate will hold NEBOSH (as a minimum), have experience within the utilities, civil engineering & construction sectors and have a thorough knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems. 

The Opportunity

  • To implement, maintain and develop the company’s SHEQ Management Systems in line with current policy 
  • To maintain and obtain company / client accreditations 
  • To audit and monitor company Health & Safety processes and operations 
  • To produce SHEQ documentation to a high standard and report KPIs to both the board and clients when required 

The Requirements

  • NEBOSH General or equivalent (as a minimum) 
  • Experience working in the Utilities, Civil Engineering or Construction industry 
  • Thorough knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems and legislation 
  • Have a smart and professional demeanour 
  • Full UK Driving License
