We are delighted to be working on behalf of an innovative and fast-paced Distribution business. Due to their continued year-on-year success and rise in workload, they are looking to hire an experienced Health & Safety Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving Health & Safety forward throughout the workforce, implementing ideas whilst cultivating a can-do Health & Safety culture across the company.

The successful candidate will be NEBOSH qualified, have a strong history in implementing policies, procedures and have a real passion for Health & Safety.

Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To continuously liaise with the workforce in order to attain a consistent approach to Health & Safety across all sites
  • To keep the company up to date with legislative requirements, updating relevant policies and procedures where necessary
  • To carry out all risk assessments and special assessments for all sites as and when required
  • To organise and undertake relevant Health & Safety training for staff as required, including first aid, fire safety, and toolbox talks

Health & Safety Manager Experience and Qualifications required:

  • NEBOSH General (minimum)
  • Demonstrable knowledge within a Distribution / Warehouse environment (desirable)
  • Full UK Driving License

  • Package: £34,000 - £37,000 + Benefits

  • Hours: Monday to Friday
